The Dark Knight Returns segment from the episode “Legends of the Dark Knight”
The Batsignal was a bit smaller back in 1949.
Arkham Knight is set a year after Arkham City and follows Batman, at his peak, as he confronts Scarecrow, who returns to Gotham to unite the Dark Knight’s enemies in a plot to kill him. Many gadgets and gameplay elements from previous games return, including the grappler, Batarangs, countering system, and detective vision. In addition, all quick-fire-gadgets are now able to be used in mid-air. The game introduces Fear Takedown, in which Batman can subdue up to three enemies simultaneously as long as he remains undetected. It also [finally] debuts the Caped Crusader’s Batmobile as a drivable car. The bulletproof Tumbler can be summoned to the player’s location and features the ability to perform jumps, speed boosts, smash through objects like barricades and trees, and fire missiles to immobilize enemy vehicles. Arkham Knight is scheduled to release worldwide on October 14, 2014. IT’S ABOUT TIME.
